The Hungarian Golden Keys had its first summer excursion on 29-th of June 2011.

The Hungarian Golden Keys had its first summer excursion on 29-th of June 2011. to the Tokaj hills area.
In the professional programm  the have visited two wineries , organized by wine-knight Tamás Kovalcsik. The 180 km  bus  trip was made memorable by  the presentation of   György Kalmár about the history of the region. 
 
On the most famous wine region of Hungary the first stop was at Oremus winery, where
they were welcomed by  András Bacsó, -the biggest tale-teller of Tokaj area. He presented
the winery to the members.
 
Before visiting the cellar, Mr. Tamás Ungár announced, that by decision of the presidency
Áron Szűcs, -Head Concierge of New York Boscolo Hotel, by leaving the Second Secretary position of Márk Huber, can fill in the position in the future in Golden Keys presidency.
 
The programm was continued by visiting the in 2011 beatifully restored  Synagogue in Mád,
originally built by the mixture of baroque and  plate style in  1795.
 
The Tokaj excursion was followed on the property of the family Szepsy in Mád. The history of the winery, which spans over 16 generations, was presented to the members  by István Szepsy, the most prominent wine-maker of  of Hungary. 
After the short tasting, offered also a light dinner, the company started back to Budapest,
enriched by plenty of nice memories.
